Papaoul - aka Gabriel Francis - is an experienced radio producer working mainly across specialist music programming for the BBC.  He was nominated for Best Music Producer at the 2023 APAs, and selected for the Radio Academy’s 30 Under 30 that same year.

He has produced:

• Music Planet, BBC Radio 3 - folk and roots music from around the world

• Freeness, BBC Radio 3 - jazz and improvised music

• Sleeping Forecast, BBC Sounds - a sleep aid using the iconic Shipping Forecast

• Ambient Focus, Classical Focus, BBC Sounds - music mixes
